My son loves his helmet and gear very good and fits comfortably, only thing is the knee pads are too tight.

Calculate how work done by nonconservative forces on skater?
A 100kg inline skater does 4000J of nonconservative work by pushing against the skater powerboats ground with his skates. In addition, friction does -1000J of non conservative work on the skate. The skates initilal speed is 2.50m/s and his final speed is 1m/s. Has the skater gone uphill, downhill or remained on a flat level. Calculate the change in height of the skater.

Make sure to buy a size bigger than usual when getting skate shoes. I get lots of compliments on these shoes and they make my feet dancy and full of mischief, which ain’t bad at 58, they’re great!!!

I got these for my 8 y/o for Christmas. I got him a bike ramp and a ripstick so I figured he could use these to keep from getting hurt too bad. Delivered quickly and as ordered

I loved it and so did my 5 yr old son. Good & Sturdy and I feel good that my son is safe while riding his razor!

This says it is suppose to be a combo set with knee pads and elbow pads and all my grandchildren got it the pgk. was the helmet.I triedto get a hold of you to tell you and never got a response. Very dissapointed. Now my grandkids don’t have the knee pads and elbow pads they need to wear.
what to do??

The pads that come in this combo are pretty much worthless. The velcro closure is rather small making adjustments limited. Thus they slip and slide a lot. One of the pads ripped from its rivet on the first day with no abuse. The first time my son fell the strap for one of the pad nearly ripped all the way through. These pads might provide protection if you fall over while standing still, but I would recommend getting some thing more durable if you really want to protect your kid. I would have given a one star rating but the helmet is pretty good.

I used this for quite a while – a couple months of swimming about 8 times a week and I’m am still using it today, though at a less frequent rate (about twice a week).

It looks nice, and hasn’t lost its color at all. And the back side hasn’t worn out at all the way lycra or polyester suits do (especially from breaststroke). But it has definitely turned into a drag suit for me. I can’t (or I choose not to) use it when I want to swim fast or after I get tired.

… or people who aren’t interested in swimming for exercise:

This is not the type of swim suit you’d wear to the beach, or even to the pool if you’re not planning on doing laps. The whole point of wearing these baggy things is so that water gets caught between the mesh and the inner layer of the suit providing a greater drag force which requires you to use more force to swim faster. Basically, these are used for lap training. People who swim competitively wear these during practice (or maybe even in meets where they’re sure they’ll win :P ) and take them off when speed counts (ie big meets). Try swimming with these and a Speedo on and compare it to wearing just a Speedo; there’s a noticeable difference in how easy it is to move around.

That said, these are great. I didn’t start using one until a few years into my competitive life but once I did start I loved it. It easily provides a nice amount of drag without it being too bulky (ie wearing a weight belt) or anything.

I liked the picture so I grabbed them. for me should have got a couple sizes smaller because when I got them they looked like old lady underwear. I’m a 30 waist and should have got about a 28 or so. they still look nice. trying to shrink them in the dryer.

When your 12 year old has size 18 feet, shoes are hard to find. Got these for less than usual retail price. Shoes are heavy and have a lot of padding like most skate shoes, but we were very pleased to find skate shoes in his size. His feet are still growing, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see our son with a size 25 shoe size before he’s done, but he’s only 5 foot 5, and still growing, and maybe DC will make these in a size 25 eventually. Anyway, great deal here. Thanks again Amazon.

I ordered these shoes because I was in serious need of new ones and I typically stray away from DC Shoes for multiple personal experience reasons but these ones caught my attention. I only paid $47 for them and used standard shipping and they arrived much sooner than expected. They are perfect for the price. The only problem I have is that I wish they were a little bit wider. I wear a size 12 and I even have pretty skinny feet but these squeeze my feet pretty well and it’s almost uncomfortable for that reason. Perhaps they just need broken-in but overall, I would buy them again.
Thanks DC for finally making a pair of shoes I can enjoy. =]
